Being a parent is one of the most important jobs there is - it is also one of the hardest.
The hours are long, there is no pay and not a lot of gratitude.
It can often be difficult without emotional support and guidance there to help.
Little attention is paid to preparing people for this vital role, yet parents are the key to giving children a happy and stable childhood.

Parenting Support

I provide confidential support service to help parents navigate the challenges of parenting and improve family relationships. The service aims to enable parents to enhance their parenting including increase parenting skills, improve parent/child relationships, parenting insight, attitudes and behaviours and confidence in parenting.

I can work with families from Limassol in my private practice or over Skype with families living elsewhere in Cyprus or internationally.

Nurturing Programme

“Every day, in 100 small ways, our children ask,

Do you hear me?
Do you see me?
Do I matter?

Their behaviour often reflects our response.”~ L.R. Knost

The Nurturing Programme offers 10 sessions to encourage parents and carers to enjoy bringing up children and get the best out of family life.

It helps us understand how emotions influence our actions, and offers many positive, practical ways of guiding children so they learn to handle both their feelings and their behaviour.
It suggests ways of helping us feel good-boosting self-esteem in ourselves and in our children.

The programme can be delivered individually or in groups.

Baby Bonding Programme

Enjoy simple, gentle and playful activities to help build a strong relationship with your little one.
Learn about how babies develop and how you play the most important part of all.

The Baby Bonding Programme is for parents and babies from 28+ weeks of pregnancy to around 12 months.

The programme takes a lot from Attachment Theory and translates it into accessible activities and skills that can be put together in a fun, gentle session that can be done together with parents and babies.

The attachments between children and parents/carers have been shown to be one of the most significant factors in optimising children's long-term outcomes in all areas of life.

The programme can be delivered individually or in groups.
